The U.S. trade dispute with China has largely been focused on U.S. technology companies and intellectual property concerns. It's time U.S. agriculture addressed its own issues with China.
May corn is up 1 1/4 cents per bushel, May soybeans are up 14 3/4 cents, and May KC wheat is up 4 cents.
Steady cash cattle trading last week was not what traders wanted to see. This triggered aggressive selling. There is some question whether higher cash can be achieved as a lot of cattle were processed last week. Hogs finally corrected the overbought status but selling may not yet have run its course.
