USDA MARKET NEWS--AFTERNOON CATTLE REPORT 09/25/26
DTN COMMENTS:
At the time of this writing, only a handful of cattle had sold earlier in the
week in the North at $350 which is fully steady with the previous weeks
weighted average, but no Southern trade has developed. Its anyones guess
how this weeks trade could shake out as initially it was assumed that the
market would at least trade steady to somewhat higher, but with the production
ramifications of the ICE raids in Kansas, packer demand may not be as strong.
