DTN COMMENTS:
The cash cattle market is mostly quiet at Thursday's start, with just a single
bid at $219 currently on the table in Kansas. Otherwise, no bids are being
offered at this time. On Wednesday, some dressed cattle traded in Nebraska and
Iowa at mostly $345, which is steady with last week's weighted average.
NOTE: Feedlots are encouraged to email DTN with any cattle sales at
ShayLe.Stewart@dtn.com. All sales will be listed anonymously and organized by
state. All live sales are FOB and set for 1-9-day delivery. A weekly summary
from this data will be posted on the Weekly Cattle Sales Reported to DTN page
and will be left up for the entire week for reference purposes.
